W sobotę 29.06 w Łosicach odbyła się uroczystość OBCHODÓW 150 ROCZNICY POWSTANIA STYCZNIOWEGO oraz poświęcenie pomnika upamiętniającego owe wydarzenie.
W uroczystości zorganizowanej przez TOWARZYSTWO PRZYJACIÓŁ ZIEMI ŁOSICKIEJ , udział wzięli przedstawiciele lokalnych władz, mieszkańcy Łosic i okolic oraz członkowie Straży Konnej Ochrony Przyrody i Tradycji oraz Bractwo Kurkowe.
Łosickie obchody rozpoczęła uroczysta Msza Święta, po której uczestnicy udali się w pochodzie na miejsce upamietniające rocznicę, gdzie odbyło się poświęcenie owego obelisku i tablicy upamiętniającej działalność Sztabu Powstańczego i lek.Władysława Czarkowskiego w miejscu gdzie niegdyś było zlokalizowane dawne Starostwo oraz złożenie wieńców przy pomniku przez miejscowe władze. Na tak znaczącym wydarzeniu nie mogło zabraknąć również części artystycznej, podczas której uczniowie z Zespołu Szkół im. Adama Naruszewicza w Janowie Podlaskim wystawili spektakl 'Zawiniątko” oparty na prawdziwych wydarzeniach. Następnie wystąpił Zespół 'Aura” z Sarnak pod przewodnictwem pana Tadeusza Gosia. Po występach były głoszone świadectwa prawnuków Powstańców Styczniowych. Uroczystość zwieńczyło spotkanie przy prawdziwej grochówce żołnierskiej oraz śpiewanie pieśni patriotycznych.
